Caffeine Chronicles lives in the extremities of exhaustion and alertness, the dissonant rhythms of dailiness. What began as a notetaking practices playfully tracking my use of coffee alternatives, routed toward productive work-output a boost for enlivening myself for social encounters became a window into the strain between the brutal syntax of capitalist temporality and narrative-making alongside the fragmentary, improvisatory, uncoagulated gestures that live otherwise. Caffeine tracks exhaustion and productivity. But it also flips on its head, to map dynamic entanglements, cruising, desire, and queer undergrounds.
